About this deal

There`s normally a small rod that connects the locking motor to the latch that can come off,not sure if it`s the same on 2006 Astra but it probably is, is the panel held on by plastic push in clips. The fuel consumption achieved, and CO 2 produced, in real world conditions will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to: the accessories fitted (pre and post registration); variations in weather; driving styles and vehicle load. Central locking works fine, all the doors open and shut and lock and unlock with the buttons on the key and on the driver door. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees. Then also I could not open/ lift the trunk more than 5cm and it appeared to be stuck like that with the roof fully opened.

Tailgate Boot Release Button Vauxhall Corsa D How to remove Tailgate Boot Release Button Vauxhall Corsa D

If it is something as simple as a bulb needing replaced (is that even possible on the centre high brake light? what I'm saying is I've changed many boot switches and indeed center brake lights for being faulty on merivas but never changed a loom.WLTP Figures shown are for comparison purposes and should only be compared to the fuel consumption and CO 2 values of other cars tested to the same technical standard. When i had the same problem as you, on my Zafira B, i used Opcom, to do an actuator test of the boot release motor and it opened.

the astra convertable is prone 4 this problem take it to vauxhall there is a rework and it wont cost u a penny!but when I hold the button for the roof to go back up on the car, it does everything, the roof goes up, and at the end the trunk doesn't fully close (It looks closed but is actually not) stays open like half an inch and wont shut correctly, wont complete the cycle. if the latch opens and moves relatively easily by hand (theres also an easy release catch usually on the left, but when inside the car, to the right of the latch).

The boot light turned out to be dodgy wiring - everything tested OK, just the boot light wouldn't work. Turns out my mum had been in the car while i was away and had used the key rather than the central locking which may have caused the problem!

I know my solenoid is sound, I have run a continuity test across the micro switch terminals and all seems good, the wiring loom visually appears sound and everything else, but everything works fine.
