During the turn of the 20th Century, there was a street gang that managed to control politics in Birmingham. They were called the Peaky Blinders and, if you’ve heard of them, it’s because the BBC series that tells their story is quite a success. As a family, we’re known for our spirits, and our beers, but we can’t overlook our links to the original gang members and how in many ways, they too have shaped our brewing and family history.

Peaky Blinder Whiskey Details

The best of the mass market whiskeys fit in this category, as do the bulk of the premium brands. A B- is three stars. Sadler’s, an English brewery, has launched a full range of spirits inspired by the Peaky Blinders’ story. Among them, there’s a bourbon and also this Peaky Blinder Irish Whiskey. It is an Irish whiskey finished in Sherry casks and bottled at 40% ABV.

The series, already in its 5th season, is also available on Netflix. But now you can also enjoy each episode like a true Peaky Blinder: with an Irish whiskey dram on your hands. De Peaky Blinder whiskey is een blend, dus gemaakt uit een mix van meerdere whiskey's waarvan de leeftijd niet bekend is. Wel is bekend dat ze minimaal 3 jaar oud zijn, anders mag er bij wet niet gesproken worden van whiskey.
