It is not the kind of scent that will draw admiration by most, but it did bring a compliment once when I thought it was gone.

A very good lotion, it leaves the skin very well and with a very fresh and pleasant aroma, which reminds me of humid autumn and winter days, walking through the green forest surrounded by pine trees. Despite its long history of life, it has always maintained itself among one of the most promising national perfumes. Finally it will close with some base notes of vetiver, musk, sandalwood, patchouli, oak moss and leather. I sometimes get this discordant note from its brothers as well: Acqua di Selva, Silvestre, Pino Sylvestre, etc.

Its smell, fresh and vibrant notes included in its home lavender, sage and bergamot are slowly giving way to more natural flavours, such as thyme and pine. then many years has pass (something like 30) Agua Brava was discontinued here in México; and yesterday i recived it in my home (from Germany). This fragrance is in the same mould as that other well known Antonio Puig fragrance 'Quorum' in that there is no sweetness to it at all and it's as dry and herbal as it is possible to be. Half a century after its release is still maintained with the same force and leaves behind a large retinue of followers. I have a thumbnail of this fragrance, I find it a cologne that an eau de toilette, but this is something timeless fragrance (and here I repeat myself) back in time, when during the holidays as a child I felt this grassy notes of underbrush wood and bark brittle mixed with a good dose of citrus, was and is a fragrance for adults, the bottle is reminiscent of a pebble polished by the waves of a dark green glass on which is engraved the name Agua Brava, it's great to hear him in one summer night while the crickets are serenading the moon and bleach a garden in bloom. AT the same time it starts developing a more pine-y/woody odor which hangs around until about the two hour mark. It is one of the very first perfumes I grabbed from my father, it was rather it is still definitely not for my age group. As the citrus dies down over about 10-15 minutes it becomes much more herbal; the thyme and bay leaf definitely are the strongest.

I love that about it, but also feel it's a rough draft of Quorum (and perhaps now with reformulation it's merely an attenuated Quorum with more citrus). Both my splash and spray bottles, newish, have one vile note that can appear, catch in my nose, then disappear all in about 5 seconds.
